Plain-language terms
Terms of Use
The practical rules for using the plugin, reviewing generated material, and keeping every application truthful.
Effective July 19, 2026
Agreement and scope
By using Job Application Batch Builder, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the plugin.
These Terms cover only this plugin. Your use of OpenAI, Codex, GitHub, job boards, connected tools, and storage services remains subject to their own terms.
What the plugin does
The plugin helps research job opportunities and draft or audit application materials using information and sources you authorize. Outputs may include resumes, cover letters, application guides, comparison reports, DOCX files, PDFs, or other local artifacts.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing only material you have permission to use
- Reviewing every output for truth, accuracy, and completeness
- Correcting outdated, unsupported, or misleading statements
- Protecting sensitive information in your files and workspace
- Complying with applicable law and third-party terms
- Making the final decision about whether and where to apply
Do not use the plugin to fabricate qualifications, impersonate another person, mislead an employer, violate third-party rights, or engage in unlawful activity.
Application submission
The plugin does not submit applications or contact employers without separate, explicit authorization. Asking it to create documents is not authorization to send those documents.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving information before it is transmitted to an employer or another third party.
AI-assisted output
Generated material can contain errors, omissions, unsupported inferences, or outdated information. Public postings can also change or disappear. Verify final materials against your records and the employer’s current posting.
This plugin provides drafting and organizational assistance. It is not legal, tax, financial, immigration, employment, or professional career advice.
No guaranteed outcome
The plugin does not guarantee an interview, employment, acceptance by an applicant tracking system, response from an employer, or any other outcome.
Third-party services
The plugin may use or display information from public sites or services you connect. The publisher does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, or practices.
Availability and disclaimer
The plugin may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued as Codex and connected tools evolve. It is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular employer or application.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and support
Updated Terms will show a new effective date. Questions or problems may be submitted through the Support page.
